Product Description

PVC tape is made of polyvinyl chloride film as the base material, coated with rubber type pressure sensitive adhesive. It has good insulation, weather resistance, chemical resistance and a certain degree of flexibility. Widely used in daily life and industrial production:

Electrical Insulation: It can be used for the insulation wrapping of wires and cables to prevent electric leakage and ensure the safe operation of electrical equipment. For example, in the wiring of household circuits, electricians often use PVC tape to wrap the connection parts to guarantee the safety of electricity use.

 

Item Fixing and Binding: It is capable of binding and fixing items together. For instance, in the packaging industry, it can be used to bind cartons. In construction projects, it can be employed to fix some lightweight building materials.

 

Pipeline Sealing: It is used to seal the joints of pipelines to prevent the leakage of liquids or gases. When installing water supply and drainage pipelines, if there are some small gaps or at the interfaces, PVC tape can be used for temporary sealing.

Use suggestion: When using PVC tape for the permanent winding of automotive cables and wire harnesses, it is recommended to adopt a winding method with 50% overlap, and do not apply tension when winding the last layer.

Storage and shelf life: The original package is stored in 20~30ºC, the maximum relative temperature is 65%, and the retention period is two years.
