1. Operating Conditions
1.1 Designed for continuous use at ambient temperatures ranging from -55°C to 125°C.
1.2 Suitable for prolonged exposure in acidic and alkaline settings.
1.3 Adept for long-term use under stringent environmental protection mandates.
2. Appearance Requirements
2.1 Product surface must be free from noticeable scratches, irregularities, or bamboo-joint-like imperfections.
2.2 The surface should exhibit a smooth finish, devoid of oil smudges or dust build-up.
2.3 Printing must be crisp, with no ghosting, ink overflow, incomplete marks, or misalignment.
3. Heat Shrinkage Performance
3.1 Initial shrinkage begins at 70°C, with full shrinkage achieved at 125°C.
In line with the UL224 standard, complete shrinkage is attained at 200°C within 3 minutes.
3.2 The longitudinal shrinkage rate must not surpass ±5%.
4. Performance Characteristics of Materials
The material's physical and chemical attributes adhere to the specifications detailed in Table 1.
Dimensions for halogen-free flame-retardant thin-wall heat-shrinkable sleeves are standardized according to Table 2.
Dimensions for halogen-free flame-retardant heat-shrinkable sleeves align with the standards set in Table 3.
Standard palette includes black, red, blue, yellow, green, and white. Custom colors such as purple, gray, and brown are available per customer request.
For optimal utilization of the Premium 2:1 Single Wall Heat Shrink Tube Reel, ensuring an impeccable fit and finish, it's crucial to employ a forced-air constant-temperature oven. The precise shrinkage temperature should be meticulously maintained at 125°C. It's essential to note that when placing the heat-shrinkable sleeve into the oven, an initial dip in temperature might occur; thus, allowing adequate time for the oven to stabilize and reach the desired temperature is vital. Simultaneously, the sleeve requires sufficient time to achieve its full shrinkage as the hot air circulates. Therefore, only by maintaining the oven's actual temperature at the set level for approximately 3 minutes can the sleeve achieve its full potential in shrinkage.
