EPDM cold shrink tubing is an insulating sleeve made of EPDM rubber as raw material and pre-expanded on a withdrawable support tube

Characteristics
Excellent weather resistance: It can be exposed to outdoor environments for a long time, resisting the erosion of ultraviolet rays, ozone, acid rain, etc., and is not prone to aging or cracking.
Good temperature resistance: It can maintain stable performance over a wide temperature range and generally withstand temperatures from -60 ºC to 200ºC.
High elasticity and memory: It has excellent elasticity and can tightly wrap around cables or other objects. At the same time, it has an "elastic memory" function and can quickly return to its original state after being subjected to external forces.
Easy installation: No heating or special tools are required. Just position it and then remove the support pipe. By taking advantage of its radial contraction force, a tight cover can be formed, greatly improving the construction efficiency.
Excellent sealing performance: Large radial retraction force, small permanent deformation. Even after long-term use, it still maintains a constant radial pressure on the cable, effectively preventing moisture, dust, oil stains, etc. from entering.

Installation method
1. Put the cold shrink tube over the cable.
2. Install the connection joint, clean the insulating outer skin on both sides of the cable joint, move the cold shrink tube and put it on the cable joint.
3. At the desired initial contraction position, hold the cold shrink tube and the cable with one hand, and pull the support tube with the other hand.
4. Installation completed.
