1. Operating Conditions
1.1 Suitable for continuous use in ambient temperatures ranging from -55°C to 125°C.
1.2 Designed for long-term application in both acidic and alkaline environments.
1.3 Engineered to endure under stringent environmental protection requirements.
2. Appearance Requirements
2.1 The product's surface must be free from visible scratches, unevenness, or bamboo-joint-like imperfections.
2.2 Its surface should remain smooth, devoid of oil stains, and resist dust accumulation.
2.3 Printing should be clear, with no ghosting, excess ink, incomplete printing, or slippage.
3. Heat Shrinkage Performance
3.1 The initial shrinkage begins at 70°C, reaching full shrinkage at 125°C.
According to the UL224 standard, the full-shrinkage temperature is achieved at 200°C within 3 minutes.
3.2 The longitudinal shrinkage rate does not exceed ±5%, ensuring uniform contraction.
4. Performance Characteristics of Materials
The physical and chemical properties of the materials are in strict accordance with the specifications in Table 1.
Dimensions for halogen-free flame-retardant thin-wall heat-shrinkable sleeves adhere to Table 2 guidelines.
Dimensions for halogen-free flame-retardant heat-shrinkable sleeves are compliant with Table 3 standards.
Standard color offerings include black, red, blue, yellow, green, and white. Additional colors such as purple, gray, brown, among others, can be tailored to customer specifications.
To ensure your Durable 2:1 Single Wall Heat Shrink Tube Roll performs to its full potential, a forced-air constant-temperature oven is essential. Set the shrinkage temperature precisely at 125°C. Be aware: when inserting the heat-shrinkable sleeve into the oven, you might notice a temporary drop in oven temperature. Allow time for the oven to return to the desired setting. Equally, the sleeve itself will require a few moments to reach the optimal shrinkage temperature as hot air circulates efficiently within the oven. Achieve impeccable shrinkage results by maintaining the set oven temperature for a consistent period of around three minutes once reached.
